God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered"Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you .
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

nan winnie is my husbands grandmother, she died of alzheimers and pneumonia.
winnie is finaly at peace now instead of suffering the awful illness of alzheimers.
my husband me and our children moved in with nan to care for with 4 years ago. i was her main carer and her daughter susan..
Daughter Susan ,son Bruce and another son Howard how sadly passed away as a baby.
Grandchildren Wayne, Becky, Adam,David and kerry
Great-gran children, Bailey, Rosie, Luke, Connor and another great gran daughter of davids.
i loved winnie as much as i did my own nans.
2 years ago winnie had to go into a care home as she was getting so much worse, she had a few accidents, and got ill regular.
it broke my heart and still does knowing i had to send her to a home, i never wanted her to go but found it a struggle and coping.
in her time in the care home her daughter susan devoted her time visiting her regular and caring for her up until her final days.

now joined with her loving husband alfred and her son howard.
we love you nan winnie and miss you so much.

you were taken from us. miss you so much. special thoughts of you today. we went up to your grave today and give it a mini make over. hope you like your new plants. looks beautiful now.
